bullet imagebullet imageThe festival was founded in 2012 on the initiative of  Community Centre (chitalishte) „Prosveta-1927“ and Kameno Municipality. In the beginning it started as a National Folklore Festival but after it's huge success we made it an international event.

Place of the festival

Groups accommodation will be in Sunny Beach. Sunny Beach is the largest and most popular beach resort in Bulgaria. It is a Blue Flag winning resort, located in a picturesque and ecologically clean gulf on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast, close to the town of Nesebar, the yacht port of St. Vlas resort and the international airport of Varna (30 km). Sunny Beach is situated along the widest beach strip. With its hundreds of bars and restaurants, multiple entertainment and shops and its developed infrastructure, the resort attracts thousands of tourists from around the world. The tourist season here lasts from May trough October.

 Concerts will be held on open stages in town of Kameno and the district. Kameno is town in southeastern Bulgaria, part of Burgas Province. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Kameno Municipality, which lies in the central part of the Province.

competition

The festival has competitive character. The performances are rated by a competent panel of judges.

 All the participants will receive an honorary diploma. The best groups will receives cash prize, diploma and plaque.

MONEY AWARDS

1st place-  500 euro

2nd place- 300 euro

3rd place- 200 euro

Prizes are provided by the Municipality of Kameno.

Participation

  • In the festival can participate  folklore dance groups, vocal groups, instrumentalists and soloists.

The contestants are divided into three age groups:

  • up to 12 years of age
  • between 12 and 18 years of age
  • over 18 years of age
